Term: Temporary, Ongoing Assignment
Hours: Minimum of 8 hours a week
Pay Rate: £30.00 - £35.00 per hour (inclusive of holiday pay)

Position Overview

Bolton Talent Solutions is seeking an experienced and engaging Business Lecturer to deliver Entry Level 1 Business at Bolton College. This role involves supporting learners to develop fundamental business knowledge, confidence, communication skills, and an understanding of the workplace through accessible and engaging teaching methods.

The successful candidate will have previous experience teaching BTEC Business within a Further Education setting and will be confident adapting learning materials to meet the needs of Entry Level learners. You will create an inclusive learning environment that enables students to achieve their individual goals and progress into further study, employment, or training opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver high-quality lessons for Entry Level 1 Business learners
• Adapt learning activities and resources to suit learners with varying abilities and support needs
• Support learners in developing key business, enterprise, communication, and employability skills
• Monitor learner progress and provide constructive feedback
• Maintain accurate records in line with college procedures
• Create a positive, inclusive, and engaging learning environment that promotes learner achievement and wellbeing

Key Requirements

• Degree in Business or a related discipline
• Minimum Level 3 Teaching Qualification
• Previous experience teaching BTEC Business within a Further Education (FE) setting
• Experience supporting Entry Level and/or Foundation learners is highly desirable
• Strong classroom management and learner engagement skills
• Excellent communication, organisation, and interpersonal skills
